About the Firm
BackTrust Commercial (BT Commercial Holding LLC) is a private investment firm based in Irving, Texas, specializing in small and mid-sized multifamily transactions — primarily 5–20 unit apartment buildings, with select opportunities up to approximately 75 units.
The firm was built on a simple belief: the best real estate transactions happen quietly, between people who trust each other. Broker-marketed processes have their place, but the most interesting small and mid-sized Texas multifamily opportunities rarely pass through them.
We spend the majority of our time in owner conversations — building the relationships with independent apartment owners and operators that, eventually, produce a private sale on terms both sides can live with. When those opportunities come together, we share them with a carefully assembled group of investors who actively invest in this segment.
